Multi-pitch Leading and Rescue
Multi-pitch Leading and Rescue is designed to teach you the necessary skills to confidently take on single and multi-pitch sport routes outside and how to handle emergency situations when things go wrong on the rock. You will learn how to assess your gear and routes, how to place quickdraws, what to do when you reach the anchors, how to rappel off of routes, how to lead and build multi-pitch anchors, how to second, what to do if your climber is incapacitated, how to escape the belay, and much much more.
Prerequisite: Lead certified at Sportrock and ability to lead 5.10. *Note* this class is 4 weeks long and 3-4 hours per session.
