Top Rope Anchor Systems - 2

The emphasis of this class is to learn safe, redundant anchor systems, where the belayer is at the top of the cliff. This is especially useful when the descent is treacherous or if belaying from the bottom is not an option. This class will also include instruction on rappelling, learning new knots and an introduction on how to build solid top rope anchors using gear placed in natural features. Participants will have time to practice the skills learned and climb.

Prerequisite: Top Rope Anchor Systems 1 or equivalent. Participants should have a harness, belay device, 2-locking carabiners, 1-prusik cord and a helmet if you own one.
